How manual mode works
- Add a plate with its vehicle type and exact logo/design.
- Open the official Ohio BMV checker and complete the check yourself.
- Record what it reports. Available results create an inbox alert and queue your configured external channel.
Hourly jobs continue while the server is running. When automatic checking is disabled, jobs log “manual required” and do not make BMV lookups.

The browser deployment uses the visible BMV checker for Passenger / Standard plates. Other vehicle or logo contexts require manual checking. An optional authorized API adapter is also supported. Keep email and SMS credentials in your hosting settings.
CAPTCHA challenges, redirects, denied requests, unfamiliar results, or changed crawler rules pause browser checking. Nothing solves or bypasses a challenge. Hourly completion depends on host and source availability.
